Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker has dealt with multiple concussions in 2013, but his most recent head injury left him out of action last Sunday. This week, when the Broncos take on the Houston Texans, they will once again be without Welker as he recovers from his injury.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports had the scoop:

Without Welker last week, the Broncos offense was without a key member and it showed on the field. This week, they hope to find more success.

The good news for the Broncos is that Welker will be healthy by the time the postseason rolls around.

If Denver is going to make a deep run in the postseason and go as far as their talent suggests they should, Welker will need to return to being a focal point of the offense and give Peyton Manning a reliable target that will help move the chains.
