It is December, which means the Dallas Cowboys are once again receiving plenty of scrutiny with yet another late season collapse. Despite a terrible defensive effort throughout the season, quarterback Tony Romo continues to get most of the blame from fans and the media and that was highlighted last weekend after two fourth quarter interceptions that helped the Green Bay Packers get the win.

While many are criticizing Romo for his late game mistakes, the team’s quarterback is still receiving plenty of support inside of the locker room.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant recently shared his thoughts on Romo and made it clear that the team fully backs their signal-caller and they enjoy taking the field with him every Sunday. No matter what mistakes occur, the team has faith that Romo is the guy they need leading the offense.

That’s our guy,” Bryant said, via the Dallas Morning News.

“We all love him. Things happen. Unfortunate things happen. Those things can be fixed. That’s by staying together. If you make a guy feel like you’ve got trust in him, you believe in him and you’re behind him, it makes you go extra hard just like me. If I’m down and I know I’ve got somebody behind me, keeping me up, you’re going to make me work harder than I worked before. We’re all behind him.

“His appearance, his approach in practice, he wants to win. It’d be different if he didn’t want to win. Everybody would be just lollygagging and going on about their business. But it’s different. He wants to win, and we’re going to stay behind him. That’s what we’re going to do. That’s what we want to do. And we believe.”

With the team needing two big wins to close out the season and finish with the NFC East title and a playoff berth, they will all need to come together.

By backing their quarterback in the toughest times, there is no doubt that the Cowboys have their heads in the right place when they need to be taking the field as the best version of themselves.
