As you know by now, the Charlotte Bobcats will be changing their name and logo back to the Hornets starting next season. Our own Josh Sanchez told you that it wouldn’t be exactly the same as the old one, but there would be some similarities.
Well now, they have released the official logo:

Personally, I was disappointed that they couldn’t use the old logo, but it is good that they are ditching the Bobcats forever. It’s good to see the Hornets back in Charlotte where they belong, and let’s hope they can start putting some talent in these new uniforms.
This officially ushers in a new era for Michael Jordan and the Hornets, and it is a fresh start for the struggling owner. Steve Clifford has proved to be a good head coach, and they now have a foundation to build off of.
Let us know what you think of the new logo in the comments below, and if you will miss the Bobcats.
