The 6-8 St. Louis Rams welcomed in the 4-10 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday for an NFC showdown between two teams that are struggling this season, to say the least.
Early in this one, the Buccaneers struck first to take a 7-0 lead on Bobby Rainey TD run, leaving the home fans in attendance for St. Louis a bit worried.
However, right as the second quarter got underway, the Rams eased those worries as well as they could.
St. Louis drove 80 yards on a drive that was capped off by this one-yard Zac Stacy touchdown run in which Stacy went way over the top of everyone to get into the end zone and even things up:
The Rams really needed an answer like that, of for no other reason than they need to garner any sort of momentum heading into next season. A loss to the Bucs today would have to be a bit demoralizing to a team that already is trying to figure out what happened this season.
