Dwyane Wade buys Miami Heat teammates green ‘Masters’ jackets (Photo)

I don’t envy Dwyane Wade. Okay – now that he’s engaged to Gabriel Union I might, but in terms of gift giving? I don’t envy him. I mean seriously – what do you get for a collection of millionaires who have everything they could need? A Playstation 4? Please – they had those weeks before they were released to the public. Fancy car? Got those.

But what about a green jacket, like those used in Augusta, given to the winner of The Masters golf tournament?

Wade, deciding to derive from a typical gift had a blazer custom made for each member of the roster and posted a picture of everybody wearing the gift on Saturday evening:

For what it’s worth, Wade never mentioned the jackets to be a replica of The Masters jacket, rather it was LeBron James who compared the threads to the lofty golf tournament. And frankly, he’s right – and I’m going to assume it was the look Wade was going for as well considering there’s no more famous green jacket in sports.
