New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro went down with a leg injury in the first half on Sunday afternoon and it was immediately clear that the injury could be severe. The medical staff wasted no time placing an air cast on Vaccaro’s leg after he was caught up in a pile, before carting him off the field to the locker room.
After further examination, it appears that the Saints could be without their top defensive back for the remainder of the season thanks to a broken ankle.
