The Detroit Lions needs to win their next two games if they want to have any shot at the division or the playoffs.

Right now the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears could be looking at a match up that will determine the division title in Week 17 in Chicago. Detroit hasn’t done that great in December over the last couple of seasons and looked like they had a great shot at winning this division.

What they need is for the Pittsburgh Steelers to defeat the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles to defeat the Chicago Bears.

Running back Joique Bell and the Lions were trailing Eli Manning and the Giants by 10 points before Bell scored six points from two yards out.

There’s a lot of football to play in Detroit and their spirits have to be high after inching closer to New York and their lead.

They’re going to need a huge game out of Calvin Johnson and this defense if they have any hopes of staying alive in the playoff hunt.
