After a huge upset win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals kept their playoff hopes alive. In order for the Cardinals to make the postseason, they will need to beat the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17, but they will still need some help.

There are two ways that the Cardinals can qualify for postseason play and it all starts on Monday Night Football.

Here are the two scenarios that would need to play out in order for the Cardinals to reach the playoffs:

  1. San Francisco 49ers lose to Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football + Arizona Cardinals defeat San Francisco 49ers in Week 17.
  2. Arizona Cardinals defeat San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 + New Orleans Saints loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17.

It won’t be easy, but there is still hope.
