Tonight is a historic, bittersweet night in Candlestick Park for everyone involved with the San Francisco 49ers organization. With the stadium coming down and a move for the team on the horizon, this will be the last time that the team gets to showcase themselves in a regular season game in front of the home crowd.

So far, they’re doing just that.

Early on in the first quarter, Colin Kaepernick and Anquan Boldin put some more of their constantly growing chemistry on display with this beautiful 22-yard hookup:

This has been commonplace throughout the season, and these two just get better and better as time goes on. There’s no doubt that the 49ers fans in attendance would love for nothing more than to see more of this tonight and to send that place off in the right fashion.

So far, the Niners have clung to that 3-0 lead and don’t seem to be wavering one bit. Although, currently, the Falcons are driving and threatening in San Francisco territory.
