With Brook Lopez out for the season because of his fracture in his foot, the Brooklyn Nets will turn to Mirza Teletovic to start at power forward on Monday night when the Nets host the Indiana Pacers.

The Nets will move Kevin Garnett over to center, a position he has become very familiar with over the last few years and hope Teletovic, who is shooting 41.4% from beyond the arc this season, can help stretch the floor.

“Well, I think Garnett at the five has had some success, and then Mirza being able to stretch the defense and shoot the ball, but also hopefully helping rebound,” Nets’ head coach Jason Kidd told Mike Mazzeo of ESPN New York. “For him, it’s not just always about shooting, but being able to find the open guy or drive it.”

Teletovic is averaging 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 16.5 minutes per game this season.

Point guard Deron Williams, shooting guard Joe Johnson and small forward Alan Anderson will round out the starting five.
