The Memphis Grizzlies have been without big man Marc Gasol for 13 games this season and they have suffered a lot. In the 13 games without Gasol, they are 4-9 and have an 11-15 record overall.

With an 11-15 record overall it would give them the third worst record in the Western conference. In 13 games played this season, Gasol is averaging 16.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

Gasol has not played since November 25th and within in that span of games, the Grizzlies have had a five game losing streak. Pretty much, it means that they need Gasol back paired with Zach Randolph if they have any chance of making the playoffs in the very competitive Western conference.

Marc Gasol has been dealing with a knee injury but there is some good news to report. According to ESPN 92.9 FM’s radio host Chris Vernon, Gasol could be back in a couple of weeks rather than six weeks which was the prognosis less than a month ago.

If the Memphis Grizzlies can get Marc Gasol back in that time span then don’t count them out of making a playoff push.
