The Green Bay Packers caught a break from the Philadelphia Eagles after losing against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that came down to the final seconds after a huge return by Micah Hyde who was injured during the play.
It was a huge gain that helped keep the Packers alive with a little over a minute left remaining on the clock but were unable to find the endzone as time expired.
Now rookie running back Eddie Lacy helped keep his team in the game with two clutch touchdowns. The Packers were driving down the field near the end of the second quarter when Lacy broke free for a 14 yard touchdown run.
Lacy launched himself into the air, pulling off a double twist but failed to stick the landing. His second touchdown came at the midway point of the third quarter on a two yard touchdown that made it 21-17. He had 15 carries for 84 yards on top of his two touchdowns.
Eddie didn’t practice today as he’s taking his weekly rest day.
#Packers did not practice but had to issue injury report as if they did

Limited:Rodgers
DNP: Jones, Lacy, Neal, Perry, Pickett
Out: Matthews
Lacy and the Packers will travel to Chicago to take on the Chicago Bears for the NFC North Division crown. With Chicago’s banged up run defense, Lacy will have a huge impact on this game even if Aaron Rodgers returns.
