If you were a running back in the NFL who was looking to get the call and make your way to an active roster for the final week of the regular season, it would most likely be coming from a Houston area code.

After placing running backs Ben Tate and Deji Karim on the injured reserve list where they would join Arian Foster, the Houston Texans needed to find some bodies that they would be able to plug in to their backfield for the regular season finale.

The lucky players who got the call were running back Ray Graham and fullback Toben Opurum.

Ray Graham had spent some time with the Texans after being picked up as an undrafted free agent this off season, but he was most recently a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. For Opurum, he leaves the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.

Kansas City was expected to sign former Navy fullback Eric Kettani to their practice squad earlier this week, so now we know why adding him was necessary.
