This will be quite an anticlimactic MVP race this season. No player has dominated the stats quite like Peyton Manning has done so far. But even his record-breaking 51^st touchdown against Houston on Sunday didn’t garner a whole lot of celebration. The list this week is all quarterbacks which reminds us what era we are amongst in the NFL. Think of the teams that have been struggling for years to find their franchise quarterbacks and then you’ll realize why that position is always considered for the MVP race over the other positions. Here is the weekly list of Peyton Manning and some other guys who might but probably won’t win the MVP.
