Kevin Garnett isn’t enjoying quite the first season that he thought he would as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. After he was traded there, along with Boston Celtics teammates Paul Pierce and Jason Terry, everything was supposed to come together wonderfully in Brooklyn. They teamed up with new head coach Jason Kidd, someone they played against for the majority of their careers, and it was all supposed to be a storybook season.

Well, it hasn’t panned out that way as the Nets are one of the worst teams in the league, to say the least.

It’s a stark contrast to the success that KG and Pierce enjoyed as members of the Celtics, where they won a World Championship together by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers.

It’s okay though, at least for Garnett. If he ever feels really down and wants to reminisce on those glory years in Boston, all he’ll have to do is take a look at the front of the Celtics’ 2014 calendar.

Because, he’s actually on it…

Yeah, there was an oversight somewhere along the line.
