When the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers in their winner-take-all Week 17 matchup, not only will they be faced with the return of quarterback Aaron Rodgers but also wide receiver Randall Cobb, who has a ‘very good chance’ at being activated – this according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

"There’s a very good chance of it from what I hear RT @ciscodamkid20: @RapSheet you hearing anything about Cobb being activated for tomorrow?"

Of course, being active and starting/playing are two different things though it’s unlikely Green Bay would activate Cobb to sit on the sidelines.

In addition, how effective Cobb would be remains to be seen considering he’s missed a large chuck of time recovering from his knee injury and will likely be rusty assuming he takes the field.

Regardless, it’s welcome news for the Packers who seem to be getting healthy at the perfect time. Whether or not it’s too little, too late – we’ll find out Sunday afternoon as the winner will clinch the NFC’s fourth seed while the loser will end their season in heartbreak.
