The Arizona Cardinals are in a dog fight against the San Francisco 49ers in Arizona right now.
This Cardinals team has turned things around and have come close to reaching the playoffs after a disappointing 2012 year. They’ve traded for Carson Palmer after going through a group of quarterbacks and struggling to protect them.
One person who suffered last year from these struggles was wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. This year has brought Fitzgerald back to his elite form and has jolted the careers of others. Even running back Rashard Mendenhall who hasn’t that bad of a season after failing to keep himself in Pittsburgh with the Steelers.
Wide receiver Michael Floyd has almost 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career. He made an excellent reception today during the 49ers which was just a desperation toss up in hopes of a big play. Floyd used his ability to pull the ball out of the air from defenders to use with this huge pick up.
There were three defenders on Floyd when the ball got to him.
