Earlier this morning, when the list of coaches on the hot seat and likely on their way out was being released from insiders, one name that showed up as a surprise was Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski. Despite being in just his first season as the team’s head coach, ESPNCleveland reporter Tony Grossi reported that the vibes were not good around the Browns camp and that Chudzinski might be on his way out.

Now that the Browns have dropped their final game of the regular season to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Florio from ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Browns will meet with Chudzinski tomorrow morning and  it’s looking like he might be told then that he’s been fired from his job.

There’s nothing to officially state that this is what will be the case when the two sides meet, but Florio states a few times that the outlook is not good and that makes two credible outlets reporting the same grim future for Chudzinski. It’s hard to blame the lifelong Browns fan for the team’s struggles, but it’s widely known that he was the round girlfriend after the Browns were stiffed by beauty queen Chip Kelly.

This doesn’t mean the Browns will for sure fire Chudzinski, but the team fizzling out downy he stretch, coupled with the fact that Norv Turner could step up and lead the team right away, may mean that Chudzinski’s dream of coaching his favorite team only lasted one year.
