Kings at Spurs final score: Manu Ginobili leads San Antonio past Sacramento 112-104

Manu Ginobili came off of the bench to score 28 points on nine-of-16 shooting, helping the San Antonio Spurs rally for a 112-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.

Tony Parker had 22 points and seven assists and Tim Duncan had 17 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 29 points and 14 rebounds while Isiah Thomas had 27 points, nine assists and four rebounds and Rudy Gay scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

The Spurs ended the game on a 13-2 run.

Behind a huge third quarter in which the Kings outscored the Spurs 38-24, the Kings entered the fourth quarter with a six-point lead. They pushed the lead to nine on a Thomas three-pointer, but the Spurs cut the lead to one with a 10-2 run. The Spurs finally tied the game on a Ginobili three with just 3:10 to play. After a back court violation by the Kings, Duncan’s seven-footer and free throw gave the Spurs a 105-102 lead. After another stop, Parker’s three with 50 seconds to go all but put the game out of reach.

The Spurs are now 24-7. The Kings are 9-20.
