Right now the Arizona Cardinals are the odd man out in the NFC playoff picture. It is disappointing considering they’re entering the final week 10-5, a record that would’ve won them two other divisions in the NFC.

The Cardinals are unfortunately playing in a tough NFC West division were a 10-5 record only gets you third place. There is still hope that the Cardinals can make the playoffs but it won’t be easy.

Basically, the Cardinals need to beat the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints need to lose to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Banking on the Saints losing to the Bucs doesn’t inspire a lot of hope, especially considering that the game is being played at the Superdome.

The Cardinals also have to beat the 49ers, who have a lot to play for. The 49ers still have an outside shot at clinching the NFC West with a win over the Cardinals if the Seattle Seahawks lose.
