Packers at Bears: Chicago intercepts Aaron Rodgers in the end zone (GIF)
By Jack Crosby
The Green Bay Packers got a huge boost today as they’ll be welcoming back QB Aaron Rodgers for their NFC North showdown with the Chicago Bears to see who goes to the playoffs and who will be getting ready for next year, wondering what happened in 2013.
So far, though, it’s been somewhat of a rusty start for Rodgers, and a fast one for a Bears defense that was obliterated by the Philadelphia Eagles last week.
Early on, Rodgers and the Packers were driving and were deep into Chicago territory. It was looking as if we were about to get one of the patented A-Rod TD passes, when the Bears defense had something else in mind:
Bears defensive back Chris Conte, in particular, was the one that had another idea in mind for that Rodgers pass.
Currently at the moment, the Bears have the lead at home against their division rival as they search to forget what happened last week and get themselves into the postseason.
Good way to start with that play.
