UFC 168 Highlights: Michael Johnson vs Gleison Tibau
UFC Lightweight Michael Johnson put together a stellar performance tonight at UFC 168. Johnson defeated Gleison Tibau by KO in round 2, stretching his winning streak to two in a row.
The fight was a barn burner from the get go as both men traded. In the second round, Johnson worked his striking from the outside. Johnson was utilizing his speed advantage very well and as Tibau moved in, Johnson nailed him with a left hand over the top. Tibau was knocked out cold after a follow up hammerfist.
Johnson, with his statement victory tonight, will likely break into the top 10, and get a top flight opponent next time out. Could we see him fight Jim Miller in early 2014?
