The Detroit Lions struggled greatly down the final stretch of the regular season, which forced the team to miss the playoffs and now they must sit back and prepare for next year as they search for answers on exactly what went wrong.

Each year, NFL teams play each team within their division twice and they play one AFC and one NFC team on a rotational basis. To fill in the final two spots on the schedule, the teams need to take on opponents who finished in the same position in their respective positions.

So while we need to wait to find out exactly what date each game will go down, the opponents are set.

Here is a look at the Detroit Lions’ 2014 opponents:

2014 Regular Season

New Orleans Saints Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carolina Panthers
Buffalo Bills New England Patriots
Miami Dolphins New York Jets
New York Giants Arizona Cardinals
