Percy Harvin intends on playing in Seattle Seahawks first playoff game
By Josh Hill
Last night it was reported that the Seattle Seahawks were likely going to place wide receiver Percy Harvin on IR and end his season before the postseason kicked off. A day later, Harvin is responding to his “haters” on Twitter not only heavily suggesting that he’s not going to be placed on IR, he’s stating he intends to play in the Seahawks Divisional Round matchup in two weeks.
Harvin then suggested that his “haters” are the ones motivating him to come back. This is Harvin essentially saying that we all ruled him out too early and that he intends to prove everyone wrong about the status of his health.
Harvin hasn’t played a down for the Seahawks since making his debut a month ago against the Minnesota Vikings. Since then it’s been a topsy-turvy ride that has seen Harvin practice only to be deactivated well ahead of a week’s game. There was heavy indication he’d be placed on IR on Monday but we may have again misjudged Harvin’s health, but only him playing in two weeks will officially prove everyone wrong.
