Caldwell says it's unlikely he would keep Gabbert if they draft a QB and re-sign Henne

In his press conference today, Jacksonville Jaguars general manager David Caldwell shed some light on the future of former first round pick Blaine Gabbert. Caldwell basically said he would like to keep Gabbert, but that only happens if they do not draft a quarterback and go with Chad Henne as the starting quarterback next season.
That is possible, but it seems unlikely the Jaguars are not going to draft a quarterback. Caldwell and Gus Bradley did not select a quarterback last year and only brought in some undrafted free agents. Henne showed some life down the stretch and was able to help lead the Jaguars offense to four wins in five weeks, but it is difficult to feel confident in Henne given his history.
The one thing that is clear is that the Jaguars may like Gabbert, but the 10th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft’s future with Jacksonville is pretty bleak at this point.
