Pittsburgh Steelers fan celebrates playoffs berth too early (Video)

Going into Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers not only had to beat the Cleveland Browns but the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers all had to lose for the Steelers to make the postseason.

It was a nearly improbable scenario, but both the Ravens and Dolphins lost in the early afternoon games while Pittsburgh defeated the Browns. That meant all the Steelers needed was for the Chargers to blow their game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh fans, Kansas City decided to put their ‘B Team’ on the field but they battled San Diego all afternoon long and put themselves in a position to win the game – thus securing an extremely unlikely playoff birth for the Steelers.

With just seconds left in the game, Kansas City’s kicker Ryan Succop missed a 40-yard field goal which the Steelers fan below assumed was a chip shot.
