When anything big happens in any sport, we all begging to wonder what the behind-the-scenes atmosphere must have been when whatever was going down was going down. For the Toronto Raptors, the biggest part of their season so far was the trade of superstar Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings, and in a rare occurrence, cameras were there to capture the reaction to the trades as players found out about it.

NBA TV just so happened to have cameras following the Raptors when the Rudy gay trade went down and their raw reactions serve as an interesting insight into a locker room that has just been mixed up in a trade.

The reactions even include those of Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray, who were traded along with Gay to the Sacramento Kings. The part of the half-hour video that captures the players reactions starts at about the 10:45 mark.

It’s very interesting to get this kind of an inside look at the players reactions to a trade, as they are completely floored by the move. It’s not that they didn’t see it coming, although not many people did, but just hearing their emotions after learning that a friend and teammate is now just some other guy on an NBA team not located where you call home.
