As reported by Dave Furst, the Sports Director for WRTV-6 in Indianapolis, Colts running back Trent Richardson went out off his way to praise the media there for “knowing football.”  Perhaps Richardson was just saying this out of the kindness of his heart and just wanted to put this out there for the sake of the Indianapolis media.  However, Richardson was traded to the Colts from the Cleveland Browns earlier in the season, so the idea that there is an inherent comparison is unavoidable.

Richardson seems to be implying that the Indianapolis media knows their football a little bit better than the Cleveland media.  Maybe he will take an opportunity to expand on that thought, but it certainly has some fantastic timing given that earlier in the week, the Cleveland media had a self proclaimed ‘news guys’ read Facebook posts at the Browns owner in a press conference.  Meanwhile, the Colts are preparing to make a playoff run and host the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.
