Los Angeles Lakers’ Jodie Meeks issued flop warning
Los Angeles Lakers’ shooting guard Jodie Meeks (he does not want to be called a point guard because of the injuries that Lakers’ point guards have suffered from this season) is the latest player to be issued a flop warning by the NBA.

The play came during the Lakers’ 94-79 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on New Years’ Eve in which Meeks had just four point son two-of-nine shooting in 42 minutes. Promising rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo got the ball for the Bucks and tried to make space between he and Meeks, in an attempt to put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket. When Antetokounmpo’s elbow crossed by Meeks’ face, Meeks acted like he got hit, swung his head back and fell backwards to the ground. When you see the replay from the right side, it is obvious that there was no contact and Meeks deserved the flop warning.
On the season, Meeks is averaging 12.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
