The Cincinnati Bengals are back into the playoffs once again but as division champions. They wanted to take that next step instead of a Wild Card spot and did exactly that this year while dethroning the defending Super Bowl champions.

The Bengals continued practice today as they’re preparing to host the San Diego Chargers in what should be an entertaining game. Both tight ends Jermaine Gresham and rookie Tyler Eifert practiced in full pads today.

Rookie tight end Tyler Eifert has been dealing with a shoulder injury and has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers. He is expected to play on Sunday.

Veteran tight end Jermaine Gresham is also listed as questionable as he was limited during Wednesday and Thursday’s practices but had a full workout today with his team. Gresham is also expected to start on Sunday against the Chargers.

These two will end up becoming one of the best tight end duos in the league at some point in the future.

Corner-back Terence Newman has been listed as doubtful with a knee injury but did participate in a limited practice today. The veteran has 52 tackles and two interceptions this year.

Dre Kirkpatrick will start for Newman on the left side.
