When you have a team spiraling out of control like the Cleveland Browns are at the moment, a lot of things tend to get said about you in the media. Joe banner and Jim Haslam are trying to deflect all of this to make it look like they know what’s going on, but we’re quickly learning that there’s turmoil behind the scenes and it’s not pretty.

The latest case of this was a report that surfaced claiming that the Brows would be interviewing former Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel in the near future. The Browns wasted no time in publicly blasting this report through ESPN’s Adam Schefter, calling the report ‘totally false’ and ‘B.S.’.

The Browns took a lot of flak both inside and outside the organization for firing first year head coach Rob Chudzinski and their brash attitude about how brilliant they are has turned a lot of people off. It’s not like a team to so quickly defuse a report like this which either means the Browns are starting to see eyes on them in the sky, or there really is something to this Tressel report.
