Early Friday morning, there were indications suggesting Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali could miss their weekends AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts.

It was said that Hali was at best 50-50 to play as he recovers from a knee injury, but ESPN’s Josina Anderson was told Hali will play in this weekends scheduled matchup:

"A source told me Chiefs LB Tamba Hali (questionable: knee) participated n t/ team’s walkthrough today & barring set backs “plans on playing”"

Hali had not participated in any of the Chiefs workouts the previous two days, so the fact he was able to go through the walkthrough (though not exactly intense) was a step in the right direction.

That said, Hali was still recently dealing with swelling and considering he got no work in this week, it doesn’t appear he will be at full strength against the Colts.

How effective he will be remains to be seen.

Expect to see both Hali and Justin Houston in the Chiefs starting lineup.
