There’s no doubt, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is among one of the best basketball players in the world. Football though? Eh. He might not want to quit his day job.

Durant, who’s been spending a lot of time goofing off in practice gyms (including swatting the shot of his young niece) decided he’d try his hand at becoming a defensive end against a former Baltimore Ravens lineman.

The Durantula, who might hit 190lbs soaking wet wasn’t much of a match for Devin Tyler, a current Canadian Football League offensive lineman.

You can witness the carnage below:

Now, Durant was pretty convinced that he wasn’t going to have much success here, obviously, but I got a kick out of the former Texas star thinking he could bust out a silky smooth spin move and have it actually work.

That may get you an open look on the hardwood, KD, but it’s not getting you around a 300lb man.

The video is capped off with Tyler sending the NBA superstar tumbling to the ground.
