The Houston Texans hired Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien for the same position replacing Gary Kubiak. The Texans are headed to even more overhaul after O’Brien let it be known that he is dismissing the entire coaching staff and starting from scratch.

First move, hiring Romeo Crennel as the defensive coordinator.

O’Brien has a focus on offense and will be looking to help that side of the ball turn around. It all starts with sorting out their quarterback situation.

“I think that’s a fantastic position to coach because of all the things that go into it,” O’Brien said, via the USA Today. “The quarterback has to be a great teammate, a hard worker, a leader, a really good practice player, a guy that’s always striving for perfection … it’s a job that’s never-ending. It’s a job that you can always improve if you like coaching quarterbacks and it’s a lot of fun to do.”
