When Kobe Bryant talks, the world listens.
That’s how it’s been for the better part of two decades now, and now that Bryant is recovering from serious injures, the world is always awaiting an update. Before Sunday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets at home, Bryant spoke to the media in Los Angeles, and he had some interesting things to say. Bryant touched on everything from Pau Gasol to his recovery:
“I’ve been pretty restricted in terms of what I can do.” Kobe on his recovery process.

“I just do what I do on a daily basis. I stay in shape. I get stronger. I focus on the moment.” Kobe on his return.

“Try to keep the guys encouraged, try to stay in their ear as much as possible.” Kobe on how he’s still trying to help his teammates.

Kobe, unsure if knee will be right in time, on All-Star "My advice would be to vote for some of these younger players, the Damian Lillards"

Kobe asked about Nick Young’s impression of him. He laughed it off. And now he will go poison Swaggy’s Gatorade.

“He’s got a funny looking shot, but it goes in.” Kobe playing the role of scout talking about Kendall Marshall.

Kobe on Pau: "If he’s not in trade discussions it’s not a normal season.”

So, Bryant is clearly tired of the Gasol rumors, as is most of the league. The fact that he spoke about Kendall Marshall and Phil Jackson in the same session shows how much people care about Kobe’s opinion.
As for his knee, Kobe is expected to return in the next three or four weeks, and the Lakers will be happy to have him back. As one of the tweets stated, Bryant will travel with them on their upcoming road trip, so expect to see a lot of pictures of Bryant in a suit.
If he wants to place a vote for Damian Lillard for the All-Star Game, he can simply tweet “Damian Lillard #NBABallot” but don’t bet on him doing that.
