The San Francisco 49ers were able to sneak past the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, and now their attention has immediately been shifted to their next opponent — the Carolina Panthers.

Back in Week 10, the Panthers and 49ers met in a low scoring affair with the Panthers winning 10-9.

In the game, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had one of his worst performances of the year going 11-of-22 for 91 yards and an interception, but now he is ready for redemption and is looking forward to his rematch with the Panthers defense.

“We owe them,” Kaepernick said, via the San Francisco Chronicle.

This time around, the 49ers will be closer to full strength and they hope that they will able to come away with a different result.

If Kaepernick plays at the level he did against the Packers on Sunday and the defense continues to be stifling, the 49ers could get the revenge that they are hoping for as they secure a spot in the NFC Championship and get one step closer to making a return to the Super Bowl.
