Colin Kaepernick looking forward to rematch with Carolina Panthers

The San Francisco 49ers were able to sneak past the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, and now their attention has immediately been shifted to their next opponent — the Carolina Panthers.

Back in Week 10, the Panthers and 49ers met in a low scoring affair with the Panthers winning 10-9.

In the game, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had one of his worst performances of the year going 11-of-22 for 91 yards and an interception, but now he is ready for redemption and is looking forward to his rematch with the Panthers defense.

“We owe them,” Kaepernick said, via the San Francisco Chronicle.

This time around, the 49ers will be closer to full strength and they hope that they will able to come away with a different result.

If Kaepernick plays at the level he did against the Packers on Sunday and the defense continues to be stifling, the 49ers could get the revenge that they are hoping for as they secure a spot in the NFC Championship and get one step closer to making a return to the Super Bowl.

What you say is true, he should be looking forward to a re match, his team may well be back to full strength and what ever, only natural. Buuuuuuuut, the Panthers are hurting a little and the next man may have to step up, and they will if need be. The Panthers are stronger at home, a big plus, the Panthers will be rested and eager to continue their quest. I also think Cam will step it up a couple of notches, if he does and the defense plays its normal pressure game this game could be a blow out by the Panthers. In any case I will be watching with anticipation for a Panther win. Go Panthers and Pound those 49ers.

Tell that to Kaepernick, he is the one who is winning and implied they were undermanned etc, although the Panthers were in their next man up mode due to injuries. The 49ers are good, but the Panthers put it to them in Week 10 and they will do the same this Sunday, but with a little more pounding. Go Panthers and pound those 49ers.

I can not say I understood what you said, but in the end when you said “rolled over by the Panthers” you must be thinking right. Go Panthers and Pound those 49ers

Panthers giving up 12 points a game at home, defense playing lights out. If our offense can somehow muster a couple td scoring drives, I think we will win.
