Switzerland Announces Their 2014 Olympic Hockey Roster
With just one day left to announce their roster for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, Switzerland released the roster of players who will represent their country in February.
There were 8 players from the National Hockey League that were named to the Swiss Roster. Quite possibly the most high profile name on that list is Anaheim Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller.
So far this season, Hiller has gone 20-4-4 with the Ducks earning himself a GAA of 2.42 and a Save Percentage of .911.
A majority of the team currently plays for the Swiss domestic league, including Swiss team captain, defenseman Mathias Seger.
