Everyone needs to put their energy to rest that they use on clamoring for Jon Gruden returning to the coaching ranks, because apparently it’s time to give some serious attention to his brother, Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator, Jay Gruden.

Having already learned that the Washington Redskins have requested permission to speak with Gruden about their head coaching vacancy following the firing of Mike Shanahan, Adam Schefter is now reporting that three more franchises are interested in giving him a look for their openings as well in the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

Even though the Bengals had one of the worst letdowns so far in the NFL postseason–getting blown out at home by the San Diego Chargers–this hasn’t deterred these teams from possibly coveting the services of the former Arena League coach.

In each of the last two seasons, Gruden has interviewed for openings, but he has gone back to the Bengals every time.
