The Cleveland Cavaliers finally ended all the Andrew Bynum trade rumors by shipping him off to the Chicago Bulls late on Monday night which means they’ll be cooling it on the trade rumors at least for now. Despite rumors that the team will still be buyers on the market, Alex Kennedy from HoopsWorld reports that the team is going to take it easy and see how well Luol Deng fits in before they make anymore moves.

"In recent weeks, multiple sources had described the Cleveland Cavaliers as the most active team in the league in terms of trade talks. Now, after acquiring Luol Deng and unloading Andrew Bynum, the Cavs are quieting down. It’s still possible that they make another move before February 20, but they want to see how their team looks with Deng before working the phones again."

Cleveland backing off from trade rumors for the time being makes sense considering they parted with a first-round draft pick in the Deng trade as well as two other picks, so they’re a bit depleted at the moment. We know that Pau Gasol won’t be heading to Cleveland anymore, but the Cavs still appear to be a team to watch.

They may indeed be done, but until the deadline passes, we have to consider them in the market regardless of what they try to convey.
