The San Francisco 49ers are taking on the Carolina Panthers in the next round of the NFL Playoffs. 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was ending an interview with the press when he fell victim to a social media trend, the dunk cam.

Basically someone unsuspectingly gets dunked on. It usually is a two man operation, one doing the dunking and one holding up a trash can or rim. In this case, someone held up a trash can on one side of Kaepernick who then got dunked on by right guard Alex Boone.

Kaepernick seems to not mind and laughs it off. It shows that the 49ers are very relaxed ahead of their match up against the Panthers.

“We owe ’em,” Kaepernick said after their Wild Card round win over the Green Bay Packers. He is referring to the loss they suffered at the hands of the Panthers earlier in the season.
