NFL commissioner Roger Goodell continues to be in love with the idea of adding a team in London and taking the Super Bowl overseas. Despite the opinion by NFL fans that the Super Bowl should remain stateside, Goodell continues to believe shipping the biggest game of the year overseas would be a good idea.

I want to grow the game,” Goodell said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.  “Fans want more, and London is a great example.”

While fans would likely complain and criticize the move, Goodell sees plenty of dollar signs by moving the  game to London and that would be the driving force behind the decision and the only thing that will matter to the NFL.

It would be unfortunate to move the game and take the chance to watch your favorite team play in the Super Bowl away from the U.S. fans, but the NFL is a business and they will do whatever they feel will make them the most money.
