The New Orleans Saints were able to squeeze by the Philadelphia Eagles in what was one of the most entertaining opening week of the playoffs in the last couple of years.

Now that the Saints were able to get by the Eagles, we all know that they’ll be going up against a team that blew them out of the water during the regular season. The Seattle Seahawks could be the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl in February.

They’re hands down the toughest team to beat at home and that’s exactly what Drew Brees and the Saints are hoping to do this weekend. The Saints fell to the Seahawks by the score of 34-7 back on December 2nd the last time they rolled into Seattle. Hopefully this time around it won’t be as lopsided.

With that being said, the Saints may be playing without running back Pierre Thomas. Thomas hasn’t practiced since sustaining a chest injury during the final week of the regular season.

According to ESPN.com, Thomas appears to be a ‘long shot’ to play in this Saturday’s divisional showdown vs the Seattle Seahawks. Which isn’t all that terrible considering how well Ingram played against the Eagles.

But I’m sure they would rather have two healthy running backs ready for that tough defense.
