According to a report from Matt Zenitz, the Baltimore Ravens correspondent for The Associated Press is reporting the Miami Dolphins have not reached out Eric DeCosta, the Director of College Scouting for the Ravens.  Further, he adds to the sentiment that if the Dolphins were to reach out, DeCosta would decline as he is waiting to take over the Ravens general manager job when Ozzie Newsome retires.

Essentially, the NFL seems to know where DeCosta stands, so while teams may back channel just to make sure, they know DeCosta is staying in Baltimore, so there is no reason to waste time on it.  The Dolphins are looking to hire a new general manager as Jeff Ireland is no longer in that role, but DeCosta is unlikely to be that hire.
