Jordan Carruth of the Mighty 1090 tweeted a photo of the new craze in San Diego, Philip Rivers bolo t-shirts.

The shirt in the picture appears to be made by sandiegotroll.com. In addition, a printing business in San Diego named James Gang Printing Shop has been selling “fear the bolo” shirts for at least a few days.
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has worn the bolo tie after games this season. His latest appearance with the tie was after the playoff win against the Cincinnati Bengals this past Sunday. Stu White of FanSided wrote an article saying that particular bolo tie was a gift from a fan.
It’s good to have your Pro-Bowl quarterback creating some buzz around the team as they continue an incredible run into the playoffs. A few weeks ago, the Chargers had about a five percent chance of making the playoffs. They remain the underdogs against the Broncos this Sunday, but the Chargers have all the momentum (and bolo ties).
What do you think? I put the Chargers’ odds of winning at 50/50. In Week 15, the Chargers beat the Broncos 27-20 in Denver. Peyton Manning will be even tougher to beat this time, but I’m going to “bolo up,” and pick the Chargers to win 34-31.
