On Saturday afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks will host the New Orleans Saints in a Divisional Round playoff matchup.

Weather.com reports there will be heavy rain and wind in the forecast, which seems to jive with a recent tweet from the CenturyLink Field Twitter account.

The tweet showed the groundcrew had to secure the goal post with a tractor due to the intense winds:

Yikes.

For what it’s worth, it looks as if the winds had calmed by the time the picture was taken as the flags weren’t blowing on top of the goal post, but still.

The weather conditions are expected to worsen tonight before easing up a bit for Saturday’s NFL playoff game. As of right now, winds are expected in the 25mph range – not exactly prime throwing conditions for either Drew Brees or Russell Wilson.

It’s not as if the Seahawks needed any extra help considering how well they play at CenturyLink Field, but Mother Nature appears to bleed navy blue and neon green.
