NFC Divisional Round 2014: Saints make huge hit on kick return, commit stupid penalty (GIF)
By Josh Hill
After scoring a huge touchdown and tacking on a two-point conversion, the Saints cut into the Seahawks lead for the first time all day long in the fourth quarter. Seemingly possessing the momentum, New Orleans followed up the touchdown with a great stop on the ensuing kickoff that saw Trevin Wade flip the kick returner and retain the momentum for the Saints.
Said momentum went zipping back over to the Seahawks side of the field when Ramon Humber made a boneheaded play and cost his team 15-yards thanks to a personal foul. Humber shoved a Seahawks player over following Wade’s amazing hit, thus canceling out the great play and giving Seahawks some extra yards.
