NFL Playoff Bracket 2014: Patriots advance to AFC Championship

bracket

After a double-header of divisional round action in the NFL Playoffs, two of the final four teams have been determined. The Seattle Seahawks were able to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship after edging the New Orleans Saints on Saturday afternoon, before the New England Patriots imposed their will against the Indianapolis Colts to punch their ticket to the AFC title game.

Seattle will now meet the winner of tomorrow’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers, while the Patriots will wait for the winner of the San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos match up.

The Seahawks will be hosting the NFC Championship at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, Jan. 19 at a yet to be determined time.

In the AFC, either New England or Denver will host the conference championship.

If the Broncos come away with the win tomorrow, they will host the Patriots at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on the 19th as well. If San Diego is able to pull off the upset, then the Chargers will travel to Foxboro for a meeting with the Patriots and a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Who do you think will join Seattle and New England in the conference championships after tomorrow’s games? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts.

Josh. I said the Chargers would beat the Bengals, face the Broncos, then move on to beat the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. And take it all against the Seahawks. How am i doing so far?

With all of the changes this past year, no one gave this team a shot to even have a winning record (let alone making the play-offs.) What this team was able to achieve with all the injuries and adversity to be where they are now is simply “AMAZING” and if we do make it to the SB and win it, I would love to be a fly on the wall in Norvs house when they do it just to see his veins pop out of his neck considering what he said to the media after he got fired last year “Uh..fans should not expect too much from this squad for the next few years and be very patient with the new coaches as this team basically sucks because I was complete failure with every team I HC’d” Let’s stick to Norv and win the long overdue SB for SD, the fans, and to see AJ and Norv eat crow. How did I do Josh?
