The Indianapolis Colts turnover issues in the playoffs have continued, with two first half interceptions tossed by quarterback Andrew Luck. After turning the ball over just 14 times during the regular season, the Colts offense has given up the ball a total of six times during the postseason.
Luck’s second interception of the game came late in the second quarter as the team was driving to put a dent in the Patriots nine-point lead, but Luck’s pass bounced through the hands of Colts fullback Stanley Havili and went right to Patriots linebacker Donta Hightower.
The good news for Indianapolis is that the Patriots were unable to convert a first down after the turnover and the Colts were avoided falling into a deeper deficit at the half.
New England leads 21-12 after two quarters.
