Manti Te’o suffers upper body injury (GIF)

In the first half of the AFC divisional match up between the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos, the Chargers defense took a hit when rookie linebacker Manti Te’o suffered an upper body injury that forced him out of the game in obvious pain.
It is hard to tell exactly what part of the body Te’o injured, but it is safe to guess it is either his shoulder or head.
After looking at the GIF, you can see that Te’o’s shoulder rips back when he reaches out to stop Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno, before falling to the ground and taking a hit to his helmet.

Hopefully the injury will not be serious, but we will have to wait and see when official word comes back from the team.
