The Minnesota Vikings appear to be closing in on their head coaching search, as they narrow down the list of candidates to replace Leslie Frazier. One of the men who appears to be one step closer to earning the job is Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who will be getting a second interview early next week.

From Adam Caplan of ESPN.com:

Zimmer has been considered one of the favorites for the Vikings opening from the beginning of the coaching search, so the fact that he will be getting a second interview comes as no surprise.

Whether or not he will be introduced as the team’s new head coach, however, remains to be seen.
